Advocate have announced the shortlist for the 2022 Bar Pro Bono Awards, and One Essex Court is delighted to be shortlisted for the Pro Bono Chambers of the Year award.
The nomination acknowledges One Essex Court’s strong commitment to pro bono work, recent examples of which have included a significant number of members volunteering as barristers through Advocate, supporting Pro Bono Connect (a scheme set up by Jamie Goldsmith KC of One Essex Court), and completing Advocate’s 25 hours as part of the 25th Year anniversary challenge. More information about One Essex Court’s support of pro bono charities and schemes can be found here.
The awards are an annual opportunity to “highlight the incredible pro bono achievements of the Bar and celebrate our access to justice champions and unsung pro bono heroes”. The awards ceremony will take place on 2 November.
