Chambers and Partners have today announced the nominees for this year’s Chambers UK Bar Awards, and we are delighted to have been shortlisted as Set of the Year in 3 practice areas: Banking, Commercial Litigation and International Arbitration. In addition, a number of members of chambers received individual nominations, including Sonia Tolaney QC (Banking Silk of the Year), Emma Himsworth QC (IT/IP Silk of the Year) and Nehali Shah (Banking Junior of the Year; International Arbitration Junior of the Year).
“The aim of the awards is to recognise, reward and celebrate both sets' and individual barristers' pre–eminence in key practice areas”. The awards are based on “research for the 2020 edition of Chambers Bar and reflect notable achievements over the past 12 months including outstanding work, impressive strategic growth and excellence in client service”.
The awards ceremony will take place in London on 31 October 2019.
