Chambers is shortlisted for Set of the Year, Commercial Litigation Set of the Year, Arbitrators Set of the Year, Competition Set of the Year, Construction and Energy Set of the Year, Financial Services and Insurance Set of the Year, Intellectual Property Set of the Year, International Arbitration Counsel Set of the Year, and Clerking Team of the Year.
5 Silks and 2 retired Judges from One Essex Court have been shortlisted for individual awards: Laurence Rabinowitz KC is nominated for Silk of the Year, Daniel Toledano KC and Sonia Tolaney KC are both nominated for Financial Services and Insurance Silk of the Year, Geoffrey Hobbs KC and Philip Roberts KC are both nominated for Intellectual Property Silk of the Year, and Lord Neuberger and Dame Elizabeth Gloster are both nominated for Senior Arbitrator of the Year.
5 Juniors have also been shortlisted for awards: Niranjan Venkatesan is nominated for Junior of the Year, Derek Spitz is nominated for Competition Junior of the Year, Michelle Menashy is nominated for International Arbitration Counsel Junior of the Year, Nicholas Sloboda is nominated for Group Litigation and Consumer Junior of the Year, and Patrick Harty is nominated for Chancery Junior of the Year.
The awards are determined based on The Legal 500’s independent research for their annual directory. The awards ceremony will take place on 3 October 2023.
