One Essex Court will be hosting two seminars in Singapore to mark the Opening of the Legal Year.
On Wednesday 15 January, we will hold a fireside chat featuring Lord Neuberger, providing insights into key legal topics. This event will be followed by a cocktail reception hosted by One Essex Court.
On Thursday 16 January, Chambers will host a seminar titled ‘SIAC in the New Year’, with the new SIAC Registrar, Vivekananda Neelakantan, discussing the new 2025 SIAC Rules that introduce new procedures to expedite proceedings and enable more effective control of the arbitral process. This will be followed by a roundtable comprising members of One Essex Court considering the impact of the new rules from both counsel and arbitrator perspectives.
Joining both these events will be eminent local lawyer Paul Tan, recently welcomed to One Essex Court, alongside members from London including Rhodri Davies KC, Richard Gillis KC, Craig Orr KC, Alex Gunning KC, Steven Elliott KC, Laurence Emmett KC, Henry Forbes Smith KC, Sophie Weber, Tom Foxton, and Senior Clerk Darren Burrows.
