LQR article on reliance and causation

Niranjan Venkatesan has written an article, which will appear in the Law Quarterly Review, titled ‘Causation in misrepresentation: historical or counterfactual? And ‘but for’ what?’. It considers the correct test for reliance in claims for damages for deceit and negligent misrepresentation and the formulation of the counterfactual in such cases. The abstract is available here.
