Grenfell Tower Inquiry

Craig Orr QC and James Petkovic are acting for one of the Core Participants involved in the Grenfell Tower Inquiry. Phase 2 of the Inquiry commenced on 27 January 2020.  Phase 1 of the Inquiry examined how the tragic fire of 14 June 2017 started and spread through the building, and how the emergency services responded.  Phase 2 is examining the underlying causes of the fire, including the decisions made in relation to design and construction of the cladding system, the adequacy of the regulatory regime and the response of central and local government. The issues being addressed include complex matters of design and construction, as well as issues concerning the testing, certification and sale of construction products.
