Daniel has a formidable reputation at the Commercial Bar, particularly in relation to civil fraud and banking and financial services. He also has an established construction and energy practice, and extensive experience in complex regulatory disputes.
Daniel also has a significant profile in international arbitration and his recent work has involved issues from a diverse range of international jurisdictions including Moscow, Singapore, Japan, Monaco, Moldova, the Dubai International Financial Centre, Afghanistan and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Before joining the Bar, Daniel qualified as a solicitor at Allen & Overy.
Daniel’s recent work includes The Grenfell Tower Inquiry, where he has been acting for a major corporate Core Participant in Phase 2 of the Inquiry (with Craig Orr QC and James Petkovic of One Essex Court).
